Welcome to Rising Sun Lodge No. 49!

Founded in 1864, Rising Sun Lodge #49 is one of Minnesota’s oldest and most active Masonic Lodges. We are the oldest active organization in St. Charles.  We serve the area covered by the school distircts of St. Charles, Lewiston-Altura, Dover-Eyota and Plainview-Elgin-Millville.  We are dedicated to building character, strengthening community, and promoting the timeless values of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. Through fellowship, service, and personal growth, we continue the proud Masonic tradition of making good men better.
