| Brethren, Bethel Fire Department has requested that all money and unsold tickets be turned in as soon as possible so they can get a count. Please bring all money and unsold tickets to the Lodge on our next regular Stated Tuesday November 4th. As a reminder, starting at that meeting we meet at 7:00 pm. | Brethren, this is a reminder that we have a Stated Communications tonight at 8:00 pm. Please, if you have any money from the Ghost Walk ticket sales, please bring it to Lodge so that we can finalize the fund raiser. Also, we have Belvidere Day This coming weekend and the logistics of that need to be discussed. We need as many participants in the cooking and selling of hamburgers, hotdogs and french fries as we can get. It's not easy with a few but a lot of fun with many. The more that can help, the better we are. All will be discussed this evening. Please plan on attending. This is also a reminder that we have a district meeting on Monday October 27th at the Shrine club in Elizabeth City at 7:00 pm. | Brethren, as you know, the Ghost Walk Fund Raiser is this weekend, October 17th and 18th. If you have any tickets left, please put them in an envelope with your name on it along with the money from the one's you have sold and bring them to the Ghost Walk or get them to Brother Kos Jackson before the Ghost Walk. He NEEDS a good count on the number of people attending the event. It is very IMPORTANT that he gets these extra tickets and money before the event. PLEASE do your best to sell all of the tickets you have. This has been a big fund raiser for us in the past and we need to keep it going. The residents of Benjamin House really benefit from donations like ours. Also, Brother Kos is asking for as much help as he can get. We need people to lead the attendees to the various stops along the way. as well as people to man the table when they get to the church. Any and all help is welcome. | Brethren, I am sad to report that Brother Henry Elliott has passed. He was our Tyler for many years and will be dearly missed. Brother Henry’s funeral will be Tuesday July 8th at 11:00 am at Twifords Funeral Home in Elizabeth City. This will be a Masonic Rites Funeral led by Brother Joe Roberts. Please try to attend this funeral and help with the funeral. |

Donation to Fellowship of Christian Athletes on 05/30/2025

Brethren, this is a picture of some of our brothers at Perquimans County High School making a donation of $15,575.00 to Fellowship of Christian Athletes. This donation means that 34 students from Perquimans County will be able to attend the summer camp at Black Mountain NC. This is the most we have been able to donate and we should all be proud of the great work we are doing for our community.

First Degree Rescheduled on 03/27/2025

| Brethren, we were scheduled to Initiate Mr Ron Pearson at our Regular Stated on Tuesday April 1st. but Mr Pearson called me and advised that he had family matters to take care of that just came up and he had to be in Maryland on April 1st. Mr Pearson asked if we could delay the initiation. I told him that we could and it would be held on our second regular Stated, April 15th at 8:00 PM. Brothers, we will still be practicing!! We have practice on Thursday March 27th at 7:00 PM and Tuesday April 8th at 7:00 PM and possibly Thursday April 10th at 7:00 PM. The more we practice the better we will be. We also need the practice for the school of instruction coming up on Saturday April 26th from 9 AM to 2 PM. We will need all officers to attend please. |

| I am sad to report that Worshipful Brother Phil Johnson's father passed. He was a 69 year Mason and a member of Unanimity Lodge No. 7. The visitation will be tonight at Miller Funeral Home in Edenton and the funeral will be Saturday March 14th at Miller Funeral Home in edenton at 11:00 am. Please come celebrate the life of a 69 year Mason. |

| We will have an Emergent Communications on Thursday July 11th 2024 at 7:00 pm. This will be for the purpose of having Brother James Davenport return his Fellowcraft Catechism. Following the Emergent Communications will be practice for the 3rd degree. We will need anyone that is available to attend please. |
Funeral for Brother John Morris Long on 11/09/2023
Brethren, the funeral for Brother John Morris Long, Past Master of Perquimans Lodge No. 106, will be held on Saturday November 11th at 3:00 p.m. at Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Chapel located at 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, NC 27944. Masonic Rites will be conferred.
There will be family visitation on Friday November 10th from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Please keep our departed Brother and his family in your prayers.

Passing of a Brother on 11/07/2023
Brothren, it saddens me to tell you that Brother John Morris Long passed away today due to health issues. He was 74.5 years old. Brother John had been a member of Perquimans Lodge for 45.5 years. Please keep Brother John's family in your prayers.

Brethren, please make plans and mark your calendars for Tuesday May 9th at 7:00 pm at Perquimans Lodge No 106 for an Emergent Communication for the purpose of Passing Brother Jaylin Prince to the degree of Fellowcraft. Lets make a good showing and support our Brother in his Masonic journey.

The new Grand Lodge Portal on 03/14/2023
Brethren,
The Grand Lodge has switched from the MORI software to the new Grandview software for all members. I encourage you to log in and register so that you can access all of the features of the new system. This will allow you to view posts and announcements from Perquimans Lodge, allow you to edit your profile in the system to get the most up to date information like address changes, phone and email changes, see events on the local and state level and so much more.
To do this, please open a browser and go to http://nc.grandview.systems
Once there please click on sign up. You will need three things to register your account, our Lodge number, your member number and your last name. Once you have entered these three things it will take you to another page where you can create a password. Please do this and sign in. Once you have signed in you can now see your main page wich will include several items that I encourage you to explore.
I will be demonstrating this at our next meeting for anyone that needs assistance.

Passing of a Brother on 03/14/2023
Brothers
It is with a sad heart I must infom everyone of the passing of one of our own. Worshipful Brother Raymond Wine, PM of Widow's Son #75, passed Sunday morning. Our Brother's family has requested Masonic Rites. His service will be at Twiford in Elizabeth City, at 2:00pm Friday (3/17/23). The family will be at Twifords from 6:00 - 8:00pm Thursday for visitation.
Please come out to see our brother off and support the family if you can.

Gatesville will be putting on a third degree on 3/27, at 7pm. They will be serving refreshments after the degree.
We all need extra help with the third degree, so if you can, please plan on giving our brothers some assistance with their third degree. If you are planning on helping out, please let Steve Stallings (Master), Charles Ward (Secretary), or myself know as soon as possible, so they can plan and assign parts.
