| . It is with great sorry that I have to inform our brothers about the passing of our Brother John William Findley. Brother Fiddley was raised on 05/09/2019 and was an active member of the Okemos Masonic Lodge #252. OBITUARY John William Findley November 20, 1941 – June 6, 2026 IN THE CARE OF Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes John William Findley, 84, passed on June 6, 2026. Born November 20, 1941, in Lansing, Michigan, he was a resident of Bath, Michigan. Greeting Brothers, The June 2026 Okemos Masonic Lodge #252 Regular Communication was held last night. The Next Regular Communication (Lodge Meeting) will be on September 3, 2026 Dinner 6PM, Gavel 7PM. | Brothers, The 2026 B4B Award Schedule has been set. We will be meeting at the Lodge 45 minutes prior to each scheduled award time to load bikes and travel to the resopective school. ALL BROTHERS are invited to attend any and all Bike Awards at the schools. This is the fun part. Mike
I am so very excited and pleased to announce the Winners for our 11th annual (2025/2026 school year) Bike For Books program. As you can see from the summary below this was the best event held yet to date. I will also post below the winners' names by school. Please review and let me know which names I misspelled, some forms are very hard to read. Additionally, below is the Awards Schedule we have so far. PLEASE if you haven't scheduled your Bike Awards day and time yet, let me know as soon as possible. This continues to be a wonderful program for our Kids and its great success is largely credited to the wonderful Staff and support we get from All the Schools and both Libraries every year. | Brothers, The next few days have some great Masonic activities and oportunities to share them with our fellow brothers. Sunday May 17, 2026 Oklahoma Masonic Indian Degree Team 3:00 PM @ Soaring Eagle Casino & resort. I know of several brothers that are going from our Lodge and local Lodges. This looks to be a popular event and should be well attened by Lodges form arounf the State. I will be driving myself and Brother Scott Jorgesen to thsi event. There are no costs or tickets required, it is first come first serve. I plan on leaving Okemos at 9:00 am on Sunday. If you would like to ride with us pleae call me at 517-285-8733. Monday - Tuesday May 18 & 19 Grand Lodge of Michigan Annual Communication. I know that ELaine & I am going as well as our Worshipful Master and his Lady, as well as Brother Bob Helmic. The Masonic Lodge #252 - Bikes for Books Program Drawing entry deadline is 5:00 PM Friday May 8, 2025 The B4B Form submittal deadline is tomorrow (Friday May 8). We will be drawing the winning entry forms (By school & Grade) Wednesday 5/13 at the Lodge (7:00 PM). On Monday 5/11 we need to stop by all the schools and both Libraries to pick up any hard copy completed entry forms they have. I can go to any schools or libraries as needed, just let me know if you are not going to be able to get to your assigned School or Library by Tuesday 5/12. Brothers, 2026 is a historic year for our Grand Lodge as we celebrate its bicentennial. There are many events planned and thus many opportunities for us to participate.
