Greetings, There are two upcoming events we wanted to make sure you all know about. First- our next communication will be on November 20. We will bee opening early as we will bee holding nominations for office for the ensuing year. Additionally, we will be conferring the MM degree with Clifton past masters presiding in the first section and the Scottish Rite Degree Team presiding during the second section. Come out and support our soon to be newly-raised brethren. ----------ALSO----------------- In keeping with tradition, Clifton Lodge #203 will have its annual Senior Warden's Dinner on Saturday, November 22 at 6PM. I look forward to seeing you all there. Dress code is casual. Make sure to bring a pen or pencil as there will be some work for you to do. It is surely an exciting time to be part of Clifton #203. Although we often take it easy during the summer months, we have MUCH labor on our trestle board and we need YOU. Listed below are upcoming events that we would love to see you attending. Please review the upcoming events and clear your schedules, if possible, to attend.
June 5- Gold Token Night We have SEVERAL Brothers achieving this milestone- come show your Brotherly love and fill the seats!
June 19 Emergent Fellowcraft Degree for two EAs
June 26 Emergent Entered Apprentice Degree for SIX worthy candidates
July 26 Corn Hole Tournament and Turtle Degree (more details to come)
August 2 Bus trip to see the New York Mets (for details, contact the WM)
September 6 Lodge Picnic
September 11 Grand Lodge of Instruction
September 20 Lady’s Night
September 25 Emergent Fellowcraft Degree
October 2 Silver Token Night
As you can see, NOW is the time to dust off your suit and polish your shoes. We challenge you to come out to as many of these events as possible as we are eager to see the seats filled and all of our fraternal bonds strengthened. Brethren and fellow officers: we have a few VERY important dates that coming up and your attendance would be GREATLY appreciated. May 15- our next communication. After business we will gather to sketch out the next 6-8 months. Come with ideas of things YOU would like to see/do socially/fraternally and also in regards to fund raising and educational programs. Reach out to a brother you haven't seen in a while and asks them to come out as well for this. We want ALL members getting involved. May 22- Official Visit of the DDGM. We will exemplify the opening, first section of FC degree, and closing (full). This is a MAJOR event every term. Let's have a perfect office showing and outstanding attendance by our members. June 5- Gold Token night to honor Brethren who have invested 50 years or more writhing OUR LODGE. We have SEVERAL honorees. Let's do them justice by having our full officer line present. Also, RSVP to our secretary as to who is coming from your family(including yourself) asap. This is an OPEN event. Also, keep your calendars clear in June as we will most likely be having an emergent communication to confer the FC degree. ALL members are encouraged to attend and WE would love to see you all out for this (when the date is confirmed). We are looking for non-officers to get involved. Moving forward, we are looking to establish a kitchen crew and employ several committees. We have A LOT of candidates petitioning and it is going to be VERRRRRRY busy in the months and years ahead. Be part of what you joined Lodge for. Please review your membership statues and make sure your dues are paid. Finally, please update your information on GrandView as we are trying to use that as a communication platform moving forward. The top 3 thank you for your cooperation this term.
